Share a Great Post in Your Welcome Email

hello, friend

A new subscriber just joined your list. Awesome!

Just make sure they have something to read by sending them a great post.

Your Welcome Email

Once a subscriber joins your list, the welcome email should be the first thing they receive.

Have a look at the QBT Welcome Email, which was recently redesigned to go with the recent relaunch. And yes, that is the same image as the one I used earlier in this post.

The welcome email at Quick Blog Tips

This isn’t the full email, but at the bottom you’ll see how I’ve included a great post.

It’s as Simple as That

Choose an awesome post. Put it in your welcome email.

If you wish, you can change it to another post at a later date.

You could include more than one post. But don’t include too many, as that will lessen the impact.

What Would You Share?

What’s the best post on your blog? Share it below and I’ll check it out.

This is awesome Ben. I haven’t looked at my welcome mail in a very long time and it’s actually terrible. I need to edit it, that’s for sure. So thank you so much for the tip.

I’m thinking that I should mention my new book on Amazon, but maybe that’s too early for a promotion :)

Hi Jens :) Glad you found this tip useful. You don’t have to keep the welcome email the same forever – you could swap in new links as they become available. And keep an eye on what works and what doesn’t. Testing is worthwhile :)

    Nice tip, Ben ;)

What I used to do is to write a welcome email and ask people to reply back with their challenges they face in their blogs (that seems too common; I need to think of something else for my new list). This seems like a good idea.

Also love the improvements going on here at QBT (Especially the tip box at the beginning of each post :D). Good luck with everything, especially the Kindle Book ;)

Hi Jeevan :) There are other things I still need to work on, such as follow up emails (after the welcome email). I’ll be trying these out soon. I used to have a couple of follow up emails but they didn’t really work. I appreciate your feedback on the changes to the blog, I’ve been working hard on it :D
